My dog has never been in boarding before I am worried how he will cope?
Try a short stay before you go away for a long trip so we can monitor your dog and report to you.
Can I bring my dog’s bed, toys and jacket?
It is important that we clean your dog’s area daily and bulky beds tend to get wet and stay wet, also dogs are often inclined to tear up their beds . Only bring a blanket or old towel. We allow safe toys and chews, no bones. Yes please bring jackets in the winter.
What do you feed the boarding dogs?
We keep on hand three of the worlds leading brands of dry dog food, plus a gluten free dog sausage feel free to ask more when booking in.
Can I bring my dogs own food?
If you bring your own dry food it must be in a rodent proof container with the dog’s name clearly printed and feeding instructions in writing. No fresh or frozen foods please. There is no reduction in boarding fee for your own food being provided.
What kind of exercise will my dog have?
Dogs busy themselves in boarding kennels and are keen to see who is doing what so although we don’t have a large forest for them to run in they don’t get bored watching all that goes on. Your dog will have access to outside either full time or part time.
Will my dog play with other dogs?
We feel it is safer for dogs who are not from the same family to stay on their own they can see other dogs but are kept safe by the fence.
My dog needs medication.
We administer medication at no extra cost. All directions must be given in writing.
My dog needs a daily brush and a bath at the end of the stay.
These are available at a nominal charge and must be asked for and recorded at booking.
Can I book on line or via your mobile?
No, we like the personal touch, your dog is very important to us and we want to discuss and individualise your dogs stay with us, we are reasonably priced and have one of the best kennels in WA so please phone us . 9256 3534
Do you have Climate Control?
We have a very high cathedral roof to the kennels and this helps with climate control both in winter and summer. Solid brick rooms make for draft free conditions inside the kennels. Summer we have an evaporative air conditioner and a large industrial fan, we also have a cool mist system so even on Perth’s hottest days we can keep the kennel block cool.
Can I come and look at the kennels before I book?
Yes, but you must make an appointment to do so first. Please note No children are allowed in the kennel area.
How is payment made?
BSB which must clear by your pick up date or Cash please, Sorry we have no EFTPOS facilities .
Can I ask after my dog while away via email?
Yes we welcome emails and they will be answered. Please remember to pick up a business card with all our details when dropping off your dog. We also from time to time put photos of boarders on our Face Book page, let us know if you don’t want us to photograph your dog.
My dog is not vaccinated?
Sorry all boarders must have a current vaccination certificate and this must be seen at booking in.
I don’t have anyone as my Alternative Contact.
If you don’t have anyone as an Alternative Contact then our nominated Vet will be asked her opinion on any issues that arises and consultations fees must be paid for by the owner. The vets advice will be followed and if additional costs are involved these also must be paid for.
